Your windshield was bonded to a clean, new body in controlled conditions. A replacement, however carefully done, is glued into a used frame in a parking lot or a bay. A repair never breaks that seal.
The windshield is part of the safety system.
It helps hold the roof up in a rollover and gives the passenger airbag something to push against. A repair leaves all of that exactly as the manufacturer built it.
No camera recalibration.
If your car has lane-keep or automatic braking, there is a camera looking through the glass. New glass usually means recalibrating it, which adds cost and often a trip to the dealer. A repair doesn’t touch it.

No waiting for urethane to cure, no rental car, no rescheduling. We fill it, cure it, and you’re back on the road.
A crack longer than six inches is not automatically a new windshield.
You may have been told that any crack longer than a dollar bill has to be replaced. That’s a policy some shops and claim centers use. It isn’t a limit of the glass.
Cracks well past six inches can often be repaired, especially edge cracks, which is where most long cracks start. What matters is the length, where it runs, and whether dirt has gotten inside. A clear photo tells us most of that.

We clean the break, fill it with resin under pressure, cure it with UV light and polish the surface.
What to expect: a repaired chip won’t vanish completely. It usually becomes a faint mark that’s hard to spot from the driver’s seat. What matters most is that the break is sealed and won’t spread.
