Not completely. A good repair usually leaves a faint mark that’s hard to see from the driver’s seat. The goal is a sealed break that won’t spread, and a much clearer view.

Often, yes. The “dollar bill” rule is a policy, not a limit of the glass. Send a photo with a tape measure next to the crack and we’ll tell you.

No. Small chips are the easiest to repair and look the best afterward.

Store kits use thin resin and a holder that can’t fully open the break, so the chip often isn’t filled all the way. A failed kit repair can also make a proper repair harder later.

Please don’t. Glue seals the surface and blocks resin from getting in, which can make the chip impossible to repair properly.

Yes. We repair at homes, offices, job sites and dealer lots across Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley. We’re mobile only, based in Simi Valley.

Dry glass and a bit of shade. If it’s raining we’ll work under cover or pick another time.

Put clear tape over the chip, skip the car wash, and don’t aim the defroster or A/C straight at the glass.

No. We only repair. We don’t sell windshields.
